On Wednesday the 29 January 2025, it was our first running evening in the new year. Most of the members were present and they brought with them a very nice selection of locomotives and rolling stock, the evening, as usual, passed very quickly, but without doubt the highlight of the evening was the purchase of a:-

The locomotive is named "Paul Taylor, Our Inspiration" Paul worked for Accurascale

One of our members is recovering form Prostate Cancer surgery that he had in November 2023, his aim is to raise money for the PROSTaid charity who provide support in Northants and the East Midland, to both patients and their families. He bought the locomotive, with the aim of selling it to raise as much money as possible for the charity.

Most of the members were present and after a short discussion, the locomotive was purchased by the club, with the intention of running it at club events and exhibitions, it was subsequently purchased from club funds.
