Member's Projects

 

One of our members, Garry, has made a small shunter by using the two front ends of some discarded Class 55 bodies and has inserted a small running chassis.

After some careful sanding and a respray he has created the following item.

 

 

Mike Baish's interpretation of Bakewell Station at night.

 

 

Pictures 2 and 3 below show all the cast iron columns, Mike made from sections of pneumatic pipe and plastic, pieces of wire and nozzles .
The station is also scratch built.

 

 

 A cutting based around Great Rocks Dale in Derbyshire with a Jubilee hauling a down freight under a scratch built signal gantry below.

One of our member's Peter Bell had his 009 layout published in the "009 News "
The layout was built nearly 40 years ago and is still going strong.
